Gaby helped incorporate strength training into my training to help me become a stronger runner and in regards to my injury, the exercises she’s taught me have helped immensely in strengthening my glute muscles - ultimately eliminating the tendinitis.
Gaby has always been extremely dedicated and involved with my recovery and will do everything in her power to help me in any way, shape or form. I now feel like such a stronger runner and I’m ready to get back to training!

I’ve been running on and off for 8 years, and previously had never been able to complete a training cycle without some sort of injury. I’d also have to take numerous breaks between racing and running due to knee pain and had never been able to establish any sort of consistency through the years.
That’s why I was so happy to have found Gaby and GRS.
I had always been intimidated about lifting weights and worried about potentially injuring myself further. However, I knew it was important to incorporate with my running to ensure I could stay as healthy as possible.
Gaby makes incorporating strength so easy, whether you are a beginning or advanced lifter. She is amazing about tailoring every set of lifts for me depending on what I need most help with, and quick to make adjustments if I am traveling or need to make changes based off how I’m feeling. She also incorporates many prehab and mobility exercises seamlessly into each lift cycle so that it doesn’t feel like a chore.
In the last two years, I slowly began to increase my running volume and have been able to run regularly for over 2.5 years now, sustaining paces I never thought were possible and PRing in the 5K and 10K distances. Not only have I been able to stay consistent, but also injury free thanks to Gaby!

GRS was exactly what I needed as a beginner runner with injuries and training for my first marathon. Having Coach Pete program my weekly strength training and PT sessions that addresses my specific concerns not only helped to rehab existing injuries but prevented reoccurring/new injuries. I was able to increase my weekly mileage knowing that I was developing stronger muscles to support it.
I had big goals for this marathon and meeting them wasn't going to be easy. Having a professional running coach like Eve was a game changer. With her guidance in this training block, I was able to improve on my speed, endurance, and strength in a safe and healthy manner. I felt more and more emboldened to chase my big goal as training progressed. I had been an avid runner for a number of years. Then work seemed to get in the way and I found myself getting very out of shape and sitting in a desk chair all day. I felt that I needed to work on my overall strength to get back into running. I considered hiring a personal trainer but that was going to be too expensive.
So I started to look for training programs online. The problem I found was that they were not flexible and they did not have the variety I was looking for. Most importantly there was nobody to talk to to get advice and make adjustments.
I was thrilled to find Gaby. The variety and type of exercises was exactly what I was looking for. I have been working with Gaby for multiple lift cycles and couldn’t be happier with the programming. Gaby is responsive to questions and making adjustments based on my input. I was impressed enough to encourage my wife to use Gaby to train for a marathon.

I had been running for a few years but I am a former collegiate basketball player with no formal experience with distance running. I also had a history of nagging injuries and as a physical therapist myself, I knew someone with Gaby’s background as a PT would be beneficial for me.
Gaby’s approach is unique in that she doesn’t just talk the talk of running but she also walks the walk with her own training and goals.
Her plans are individualized and she communicates often and effectively throughout training. She helped me PR in the half marathon and I look forward to working with her for my first full marathon!

I suffered from over-training throughout college which led to a bad IT band injury. I stopped running for over a year and stuck to other sports that didn’t involve as much running.
When I had the idea to start again and potentially do a marathon, coming across Gaby’s Instagram was a blessing! Given Gaby’s similar college athletic background and her impressive DPT credentials I knew we would work great together!
She set me up for success from the start. The expectations and plans were clear and easy to follow. Her run and strength training was detailed and customized.
She altered the plan when needed, prioritized my recovery, and I finished training strong! I seriously couldn’t have ran my first marathon successfully and with a sub-3:30 time without Gaby!

Gaby is the first person I have ever worked with that subscribed to a therapeutic practice of empowering your body to heal itself.

4 months ago I never thought I would be here. My first half marathon was not successful to say the least. Over the past year I have focused on my endurance and speed as well as some cross training but there was always something missing in my training. Eve is the best running coach anyone could ask for. Her understanding of my schedule and OrangeTheory training made her the best coach for me because she was able to implement everything I needed to be successful for my half marathon and full marathon in London in 9 weeks. Not only has Eve helped me become an overall better and faster runner, but she also helped me find a community with my new diagnosis as a type 1 diabetic.

I started running again last summer with the goal of completing a half marathon. The training was super tough and I unfortunately felt pain the month leading up to the race. That’s when I looked into coaching because I really wanted to excel in running and stay injury free. I found Gaby on Instagram and messaged her that I was interested in the GRS program. I’ve been working with Alex and Pete for almost 2 months now and I’ve already seen so much improvement in my performance. I feel really really good and strong when I run. The strength workouts have helped me avoid injury and the Everfit app is awesome because there is explicit video/instruction on how to do exercises. The run workouts have been great as well, there’s a good balance between speed work and easy runs. Speed is definitely something I neglected during my first training block. I already have a 15 minute half marathon PR since starting with GRS! Alex has been building up my mileage week by week since I’m now 1.5 months out from my first marathon. I never could’ve imagine I would be doing the long runs I’m doing now. I love that she has so much confidence in me and I feel so much support from the entire GRS team. Starting the GRS program is the best decision I could’ve made for my running career and I’m so excited for what’s to come!

Coming from a different discipline (competitive skating) that led to several foot-related injuries, I’ve long struggled with developing a consistent and pain-free running routine. Knowing that my long term goal is to balance my skating career and love for running, I reached out to the GRS team to help me develop a plan to return to racing safely and sustainably.
