“I had been an avid runner for a number of years. Then work seemed to get in the way and I found myself getting very out of shape and sitting in a desk chair all day. I felt that I needed to work on my overall strength to get back into running. I  considered hiring a personal trainer but that was going to be too expensive.

So I started to look for training programs online. The problem I found was that they were not flexible and they did not have the variety I was looking for. Most importantly there was nobody to talk to to get advice and make adjustments.

I was thrilled to find Gaby. The variety and type of exercises was exactly what I was looking for. I have been working with Gaby for multiple lift cycles and couldn’t be happier with the programming. Gaby is responsive to questions and making adjustments based on my input. I was impressed enough to encourage my wife to use Gaby to train for a marathon.”

“I started working with Gaby because I had ambitious goals that I knew I needed help with in order to achieve.

I had been running for a few years but I am a former collegiate basketball player with no formal experience with distance running. I also had a history of nagging injuries and as a physical therapist myself, I knew someone with Gaby’s background as a PT would be beneficial for me.

Gaby’s approach is unique in that she doesn’t just talk the talk of running but she also walks the walk with her own training and goals.

Her plans are individualized and she communicates often and effectively throughout training. She helped me PR in the half marathon and I look forward to working with her for my first full marathon!”

“Whether you’re an amateur or seasoned runner, getting back into running is daunting.

I suffered from over-training throughout college which led to a bad IT band injury. I stopped running for over a year and stuck to other sports that didn’t involve as much running.

When I had the idea to start again and potentially do a marathon, coming across Gaby’s Instagram was a blessing! Given Gaby’s similar college athletic background and her impressive DPT credentials I knew we would work great together!

She set me up for success from the start. The expectations and plans were clear and easy to follow. Her run and strength training was detailed and customized.

She altered the plan when needed, prioritized my recovery, and I finished training strong! I seriously couldn’t have ran my first marathon successfully and with a sub-3:30 time without Gaby!”

“Working with Gaby has been game changing for both my lifting and running.

As a very active adult that takes their workouts seriously, I have struggled for years with my hyper mobility which has caused various minor injuries as well as general discomfort.

Gaby is the first person I have ever worked with that subscribed to a therapeutic practice of empowering your body to heal itself.

We quickly identified some major imbalances and weaknesses, and immediately began working to strengthen them.

The results have been incredible. I’m able to move in ways I wasn’t before and my running, particularly on hills, is actually possible now!

The strength gains that I have made working with Gaby are unmistakeable and I recommend her as a PT (and wonderful person) to everyone I know!”

“Eve completely changed the way I had been training. She introduced hard speed runs, which are something I hadn’t been incorporating. She reminded me to keep my easy runs easy. And she was so flexible with my schedule! Her coaching allowed me to take 20 minutes off my previous half marathon PR. So, I just wanted to give her a huge shoutout because I couldn’t have done it without her! Thanks for the constant support & advice!”

“Eve has helped me elevate my running. I was able to shave off 30 min from my previous half marathon and she’s currently helping me train for my second full marathon. She provides me with programming that helps hold me accountable and her tips on nutrition and fueling have helped me feel stronger on my long runs.”

“4 months ago I never thought I would be here. My first half marathon was not successful to say the least. Over the past year I have focused on my endurance and speed as well as some cross training but there was always something missing in my training. Eve is the best running coach anyone could ask for. Her understanding of my schedule and OrangeTheory training made her the best coach for me because she was able to implement everything I needed to be successful for my half marathon and full marathon in London in 9 weeks. Not only has Eve helped me become an overall better and faster runner, but she also helped me find a community with my new diagnosis as a type 1 diabetic.”

“I’ve been working with Alex and Pete for 3 months and it has been awesome! They are very knowledgeable and designed a running + strength plan just for me. I’ve already seen so much progress in my running and I am definitely much stronger. 100% recommend working with both of them. They will listen to your needs and get you were you want to be.”

“I started running again last summer with the goal of completing a half marathon. The training was super tough and I unfortunately felt pain the month leading up to the race. That’s when I looked into coaching because I really wanted to excel in running and stay injury free. I found Gaby on Instagram and messaged her that I was interested in the GRS program. I’ve been working with Alex and Pete for almost 2 months now and I’ve already seen so much improvement in my performance. I feel really really good and strong when I run. The strength workouts have helped me avoid injury and the Everfit app is awesome because there is explicit video/instruction on how to do exercises. The run workouts have been great as well, there’s a good balance between speed work and easy runs. Speed is definitely something I neglected during my first training block. I already have a 15 minute half marathon PR since starting with GRS! Alex has been building up my mileage week by week since I’m now 1.5 months out from my first marathon. I never could’ve imagine I would be doing the long runs I’m doing now. I love that she has so much confidence in me and I feel so much support from the entire GRS team. Starting the GRS program is the best decision I could’ve made for my running career and I’m so excited for what’s to come!”

“Coming from a different discipline (competitive skating) that led to several foot-related injuries, I’ve long struggled with developing a consistent and pain-free running routine. Knowing that my long term goal is to balance my skating career and love for running, I reached out to the GRS team to help me develop a plan to return to racing safely and sustainably.

In short: working with Alex has been a dream! Her deep expertise, responsiveness to my training needs, and unflagging encouragement were central to my success. With her guidance, I finished my race much faster, stronger, and more confident than I could have imagined. I can’t wait to see what lies in store!”

“I started using Go RunStronger because I wanted to improve my run times, and it sure paid off. I was able to take 5 minutes off my 2-mile run, goin from 25:30 to 20:09 in just 6 months. I am extremely pleased with the results, and I appreciate how patient Alex was with me and my busy schedule. Alex was able to adjust workout plans to fit my needs and was supportive throughout the whole process. Now I have a starting point to maintain and improve on. Thank you Alex, for everything and I will surely be back to hit another personal record in the near future.”

“I struggled with designing and keeping up with doing my lifts as a newer runner, but ever since I found Go Run Stronger the guesswork has been taken out of lifting for me! The runner-specific exercises are really helpful, and are helping correct the muscular imbalances I have and challenging me at the same time. Since starting my GRS subscription, I have PB’ed in distances ranging from the mile to the half marathon. I definitely recommend it for any runner who needs some lifting structure!”

“After trying to figure out running and pushing through some painful injuries, I reached out to GRS for help.

I have been provided so much guidance, insight and knowledge that I would’ve never been able to find on my own!

Through the strength programs, I have gotten so much stronger mentally and physically.

My injuries have healed drastically and I am lifting so much more than where I started.  Now that I’m starting to run again with a good and healthy foundation, I’m so excited to see how far I can go because I know I’m in good hands!

And on top of that, they are incredible encouragers, thoughtful coaches, and incredibly kind people! I highly recommend these services!”

“I loved the virtual structure of the strength programs. The exercises in the supersets were easy to move between and I was never bored. I loved the variety! I loved that it was not only a full body lift but how the knee and hip strengthening moves were sprinkled in too. I think that x3 lifts/week are the perfect balance to add to a running plan.

I felt myself getting stronger each week and loved how easy it was to go up in weights with just dumbbells. Overall 11/10 and would highly recommend it to any runner looking to incorporate full body strength, or even non runners looking for a full body lift plan!”

“I started working with Go Run Stronger in hopes to find a structured strength training program for my upcoming half marathon.

It was my first time working with a strength coach and adding in a structured strength program to my half marathon training — I honestly could not have asked for a better coach. From our first phone consultation to weekly check ins, there was such close attention to my specific needs and goals and proper adjustments were made weekly to help achieve my training goals.

Not only did I PR on my half but felt the best post race and most importantly, had an injury and pain free training cycle. I am so grateful for GRS’ support and am looking forward to continue to work with GRS this next training cycle!”

“I’ve been running recreationally since 2018 and raced here and there, but had trouble knowing how to adjust my training every time life got in the way. I knew I wanted to take my running to the next level, but I needed help.

That’s when I found Go Run Stronger. Coach Alex is so understanding when it comes to my busy schedule. She knows how to schedule tough workouts to push me forward, but adjusts my weeks when my body calls for some rest.

I also joined the GRS strength training app and can fit in three strength sessions per week that I know are targeting the right muscles. With all this help I PR’ed in my recent half marathon by 11 minutes! Thanks Coach Alex and GRS! Can’t wait to see what the future hold!”

“I used to be riddled with injuries and my recovery game was non existent. Working with GRS has completely changed my game in such a short amount of time. They really pay attention to detail when it comes to my needs and goals. They really knows their stuff and it really motivates me to know they are supporting my progress every week.

I’ve failed multiple workout programs and really needed this individualized program GRS has given me. Not only have I increased my strength but I have healed my injury issues and significantly reduced the time I need to recover.

I look forward to growing and becoming a better athlete with 1:1 run coaching as well. I am working with Gaby to improve my run game for the triathlon. She’s extremely passionate about what she does and it shows in her clients progress. I couldn’t recommend Gaby and GRS enough.”

“I started using GoRunStronger after a recommendation on IG. After seeing that the program was specifically for runners and created by physical therapists who regularly treat runners, I was sold. The app has so many positives: videos with every exercise, a log of my weights, and a way to easily communicate with other members. The workouts are clear and kick my butt in the best ways. I can tell a huge difference in my running form and power. I recommend this program to everyone.”

“I have been using the app for a little over 2 months now while I’m very slowly coming back from a very aggravated shin splint after a spring marathon. I have always struggled with consistency and motivation w lifting and Go Run Stronger has been huge for me! I get all my lifts done every week and actually look forward to it. I feel SO much stronger, and the PT I’m seeing for my injury is so impressed too! I’m so excited to continue and to see how I feel as I get back into a proper running plan!”

“I started out this year wanting to stay committed to not only running but the strength goals I set forth. Thus far, I’ve hit every goal that I’ve set for myself from a performance standpoint and also weight loss. I’ve been able to stay injury free and I just can’t thank Coach Pete enough. Coach Pete structured a plan to fit my schedule and get me stronger! Looking forward to what’s in store for the upcoming training cycles! Up next Marine Corps Marathon.”

“Working with Gaby to train for my first half marathon was an incredible experience. In the beginning, I struggled with fear of injury and self doubt. My goal was just to make it to the finish line happily and healthily and I exceeded that!

With Gaby’s professional knowledge and guidance, she flawlessly designed my training program to meet my individual goals all while keeping in mind my busy lifestyle. She was responsive and always there when I had questions or concerns and constantly checked in to lend support.

She taught me so much about running, and even about myself  in the process, and gave me the confidence and community I needed to accomplish my goal. Thanks to Gaby, I know I am not done with my journey – I am just getting started.”

“I started working with Gaby because I had big goals that I knew I couldn’t accomplish on my own. I grew up an athlete and played DI softball but I have only been running distance for about a year and I wanted guidance from someone I trusted as I embarked on my goals.

Gaby was that person! I trust Gaby with all of my training: strength, runs, nutrition, paces , etc., and I truly wouldn’t want anyone else as my coach. Growing up as an athlete, I have had many injuries and when I started running, I found myself always fighting some nagging pain.

Once I started working with Gaby, those pains have faded away and I have been able to train injury free! I consider Gaby not only a coach, but a friend so if you are looking for someone to help you on your running journey, I couldn’t recommend anyone better!”

“I really enjoyed working with Coach Pete! He was super supportive and encouraging throughout the program and I was able to really build strength! It was exciting to see how the strength also translated to my run training and build in volume — as I was able to do it without a flare up from my chronic hamstring injury!”

“I love distance running but have always struggled with injuries. I have been unable to complete a training cycle without injury since November 2021.

As a master’s runner, I knew I needed a coach that could prescribe both a strength and running program that would take my age into account. I love to train hard but I had no idea what to do which led to constant injuries. I really wanted to be strong enough to run another marathon.

When I saw Gaby on Instagram, I knew she was the coach for me. She was a runner AND a DPT. I was so excited that we clicked on the initial consultation. Not only did I like what she had to say, I really liked her as a person.

When we started in May, I was doing a walk/run program from my PT and I told Gaby that I really wanted to run a Boston qualifying marathon in the fall. Throughout training, Gaby listened to me and adapted the training to fit my needs as necessary. She was responsive, organized and tailored the training around my crazy schedule. She kept me focused on my goal. Most importantly, she believed in me even when I doubted myself.  Plus, I really enjoyed the workouts.

Fast forward, I ran the Richmond Marathon and had the most amazing day.  I ran my strongest of 16 marathons. Not only did I make it to the start healthy, I felt so strong in the last 10k of the marathon. I had never experienced this before! I ended up beating my initial goal by 20 minutes and ran a Boston Qualifier. I smiled the entire race. I am so thankful for all of Gaby’s help. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“I’ve always loved running, but have been hesitant to go all in with it again since having spinal surgery and suffering from shin splints. I knew that if I wanted to accomplish my running goals, I needed to do it safely and in a way that’s healthy for me.

Having Gaby as a running coach has been such a game changer. Gaby’s extensive knowledge on injury prevention has helped me become the strongest version of myself yet.

Before training with Gaby, I would constantly get shin splints and suffer from pain during my runs. After training with her, I’m not in any pain!

Gaby makes sure to prioritize my health during training and always keeps my spine in mind as well, which I appreciate so much. You can really tell how much she cares. I’m so happy I am able to run again and to have her as my coach!”

“I couldn’t have run my first half marathon without the support of Go Run Stronger and Coach Alex. Prior to training with GRS, I kept getting injuries that interfered with my running goals. Alex created a plan that worked with my lifestyle and took my injury history into account, and as a result I was able to train injury free and crush my race day goal!”

“I started running over COVID and simply became addicted. I pushed my body to the limits to reach my goals but it came with a heavy price. I constantly had nagging injuries which ultimately culminated with serious knee pain.

I tried everything to get back on the road but nothing worked. I gave up hope and put away the running shoes for good.

I came across Gaby’s IG and decided to get back to running the right way. Gaby’s experience and knowledge showed from the get go and I put my faith in her.

I have been combo running and lifting for the months pain free since being coached by Gaby. I would highly recommend her coaching to anyone!”

“I started working with Gaby to come back after a major injury. I wanted to return to racing in a smart way and not end up injured again so I really was happy to work with Gaby not only as a coach but as a physical therapist as well.

I absolutely loved working with her!! It was the best decision I made! I loved the strength and running plans she gave me, but I loved even more her dedication to me as her client!

She was so attentive every step of the way and modified or progressed things as things changed throughout the training cycle.

I was able to return to racing and start and finish the race with NO injuries. I PRed in the 10k and even placed in the top female racers.

I would HIGHLY recommend Gaby to anyone looking for an attentive and experienced coach that truly cares about you and your goals!”

“I came to Gaby after local physical therapists could not resolve a few chronic issues I was experiencing. Although her and I work together virtually her approach to the strengthening and mobility I needed has been spot on with noticeable improvements since her and I started. Gaby works with you, listens to your questions, or concerns and addresses them by either modifying the exercises or explaining things so that you understand what to expect. She genuinely cares about the people she is helping, it’s evident by the lack of “going through the motion” and just moving the appointment along you experience elsewhere. I don’t know where I’d be without Gaby’s help, you won’t regret working with her.”

“I started working with Gaby after pulling my hamstring playing tennis. She helped me regain strength in my leg and created a plan to prevent future injuries. Gaby had me back on the court quickly and even went to cheer me on at my first match!  I am so happy to have found such a knowledgeable and FUN physical therapist. I would recommend her to everyone.”

“Gaby got me back on the tennis courts quickly!  When I first met her, I had terrible tennis elbow/forearm pain that was impacting my daily activities. I was distraught thinking that it was the end of my tennis season. Gaby gave me strengthening and stretching exercises that improved my mobility almost immediately. She made the sessions fun and engaging as she gave me motivation to keep working hard. I highly recommend her as a knowledgeable and professional physical therapist!”

“Coming into physical therapy with Gaby as my therapist, I was starting my track season, experiencing dreadful pain in my hips that had occurred for over a year due to a previous injury.

Gaby is the only physical therapist I’ve worked with that successfully helped me gain lasting and satisfying results. Upon meeting Gaby, she immediately established a comforting foundation – allowing me to inform her of the problem so we could quickly act accordingly.

Throughout working with her, I was always updated on progress which made me feel comfortable the entire therapy session. Not only did Gaby instruct me through different exercises to do while at physical therapy, but she also provided me with exercises that I was able to do at home, ensuring that I could still strengthen and advance my mobility outside of the physical therapy workspace.

After working with Gaby, I was able to run the rest of my track season without any pain or discomfort and was even able to hit new personal records. She’s truly a life saver!”

“When I first came to see Gaby, I had a hamstring injury due to over training and putting a lot of stress on my legs. Gaby supported and encouraged me to take some necessary time to rest, which was is something that I was scared to do but it was so worth it. Gaby helped me gain the strength and flexibility back in my hamstring. She also helped me gain the confidence to start pushing myself harder.

Aside from being so helpful for my recovery, she has also been such a great person to spend time with, talk about my recruiting experience with, and just share my day with. I’m so grateful for all the help she has given me. 10 out of 10 physical therapy experience.”

“Following my ACL surgery, I have had to re-learn a lot of things like running, jumping, sprinting, and even skipping.

For the first 10 months, I had basic physical therapy. A couple of months before I was due to return to wrestling, I still wasn’t feeling ready and was very worried that I wouldn’t make it.

I was then recommended to Healthy Baller, a physical therapy center that specializes in getting athletes strength and technique back so that they could return to sport.

I went in for my initial testing and my results were not great and I knew it was still going to be a long journey.

I worked with Dr. Gaby Go to gain my strength, mobility, and confidence to return to sport. I am now wrestling because of her. She has pushed me and helped me in every session that we have had. She pushes me past the point of what I think I can do and always encourages me to do better.

The best thing is she always has a smile on her face and makes each session fun. I am very grateful to have had her as my PT specialist and I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for her.”

“Running is my happy place, and when two stress fractures and poor marathon training left me completely unable to run, I started in-person PT with Gaby and committed to recovery and rebuilding my strength. Gaby would explain the purpose of each strength-building exercise and identify the weaknesses in my hips, glutes, and quads that made me prone to injury. PT sessions became therapy for me. I am so happy to be running pain free again and training for the Chicago marathon! If you’re considering running-focused PT, know that you’ll experience a complete shift in mindset about strength and run training. For me, it went from something I never did to my #1 priority.”

“I had been dealing with calf pain for months every time I tried to run. That pain eventually led to me getting out of shape because I couldn’t run for more than a few minutes. I’m part of the Army National Guard and need to be able to run. I came to Gaby when I couldn’t resolve the issue myself. Gaby is very thorough with her examination. She paid close attention to every minute move I made and took not only a specific approach to my calf problem but also a global approach and addressed other areas of weakness as well. I received some of the best care possible from her. Gaby follows up constantly with me and is a huge supporter. Through working with her, I was able to get back to running problem free and return to doing things I love such as playing recreational sports. I just recently passed my PT test for the NG without any issues. I would be in really bad shape if it wasn’t for Gaby. She is truly dedicated to her patients!”

“I decided to work with Gaby for my run and strength training for Chicago marathon and I am so happy I did! We worked on muscle imbalances I have from previous knee injuries. On race day, I was able to knock 6 minutes off my previous PR, qualify for Boston, and more importantly, I felt confident throughout the whole race and never felt like I was running out of steam. I was able to negative split the last 10K and finish very strong. I had never felt that way in previous marathons!! Thank you Gaby for holding me accountable and helping me crush my goals.”

“Coaching with Alex has been the best investment in myself in 2023! I have been running for a few years, but was hitting a plateau on my own, and knew I would need some guidance to achieve my speed goals.

Alex has been an incredible coach to work with – not only did her plan provide me the push that I needed to grow, but she was so supportive every step of the way! I really love how personalized my training is, and how extremely responsive Alex was to helping me make adjustments to my training or answering any questions or comments.

With Alex’s help, I have grown so much as a runner in only a few months, and was able to get a new PB in my 5k. I have really enjoyed working with GRS and cannot wait to continue into the new year!”

“I started running at the beginning of 2023 with the long term goal of racing a sub-3:30 marathon (Boston Qualifying time). After running a half marathon in July I decided I needed a run coach and started working with Alex. A few weeks after I started working with her, I noticed I was starting to feel like a much stronger runner. I ended up running a 3:28 at CIM and knocked 20 min off my previous marathon time! Thank you Coach Alex!”

Coach Alex helped me get through my marathon training cycle completely healthy and I was able to set a PB in my goal race marathon and 10k along the way.

I love how individualized my training is and how supportive Alex, Gaby, and everyone at Go Run Stronger are. I can’t wait to keep working with GRS and I am so excited to continue progressing my running.”

“I’ve been following Gaby on Instagram for a while and I’ve loved her approach to running/strength training so I was so excited when GoRunStringer started! I originally came to the team after dealing with a past knee injury that still caused some issues here and there. Since working with Alex and Pete, I’ve become stronger, had minimal to no knee pain, and achieved a PR at the Richmond half. The whole team is invested in you and your goals. Alex and Pete have been amazing mentors/trainers and I have learned a lot from them.”
