I struggled with designing and keeping up with doing my lifts as a newer runner, but ever since I found Go Run Stronger the guesswork has been taken out of lifting for me! The runner-specific exercises are really helpful, and are helping correct the muscular imbalances I have and challenging me at the same time. Since starting my GRS subscription, I have PB’ed in distances ranging from the mile to the half marathon. I definitely recommend it for any runner who needs some lifting structure!

Through the strength programs, I have gotten so much stronger mentally and physically.
My injuries have healed drastically and I am lifting so much more than where I started. Now that I’m starting to run again with a good and healthy foundation, I’m so excited to see how far I can go because I know I’m in good hands!

I loved the virtual structure of the strength programs. The exercises in the supersets were easy to move between and I was never bored. I loved the variety! I loved that it was not only a full body lift but how the knee and hip strengthening moves were sprinkled in too. I think that x3 lifts/week are the perfect balance to add to a running plan.
I felt myself getting stronger each week and loved how easy it was to go up in weights with just dumbbells. Overall 11/10 and would highly recommend it to any runner looking to incorporate full body strength, or even non runners looking for a full body lift plan!

I started working with Go Run Stronger in hopes to find a structured strength training program for my upcoming half marathon.
It was my first time working with a strength coach and adding in a structured strength program to my half marathon training -- I honestly could not have asked for a better coach. From our first phone consultation to weekly check ins, there was such close attention to my specific needs and goals and proper adjustments were made weekly to help achieve my training goals.
Not only did I PR on my half but felt the best post race and most importantly, had an injury and pain free training cycle. I am so grateful for GRS’ support and am looking forward to continue to work with GRS this next training cycle!

I've been running recreationally since 2018 and raced here and there, but had trouble knowing how to adjust my training every time life got in the way. I knew I wanted to take my running to the next level, but I needed help.
That’s when I found Go Run Stronger. Coach Alex is so understanding when it comes to my busy schedule. She knows how to schedule tough workouts to push me forward, but adjusts my weeks when my body calls for some rest.
I also joined the GRS strength training app and can fit in three strength sessions per week that I know are targeting the right muscles. With all this help I PR’ed in my recent half marathon by 11 minutes! Thanks Coach Alex and GRS! Can’t waait to see what the future hold!

I used to be riddled with injuries and my recovery game was non existent. Working with GRS has completely changed my game in such a short amount of time. They really pay attention to detail when it comes to my needs and goals. They really knows their stuff and it really motivates me to know they are supporting my progress every week.
I’ve failed multiple workout programs and really needed this individualized program GRS has given me. Not only have I increased my strength but I have healed my injury issues and significantly reduced the time I need to recover.

The app has so many positives: videos with every exercise, a log of my weights, and a way to easily communicate with other members. The workouts are clear and kick my butt in the best ways. I can tell a huge difference in my running form and power. I recommend this program to everyone.

I started working with Gaby because I had big goals that I knew I couldn't accomplish on my own. I grew up an athlete and played DI softball but I have only been running distance for about a year and I wanted guidance from someone I trusted as I embarked on my goals.
Gaby was that person! I trust Gaby with all of my training: strength, runs, nutrition, paces , etc., and I truly wouldn't want anyone else as my coach. Growing up as an athlete, I have had many injuries and when I started running, I found myself always fighting some nagging pain.
Once I started working with Gaby, those pains have faded away and I have been able to train injury free! I consider Gaby not only a coach, but a friend so if you are looking for someone to help you on your running journey, I couldn't recommend anyone better!

I love distance running but have always struggled with injuries. I have been unable to complete a training cycle without injury since November 2021.
As a master’s runner, I knew I needed a coach that could prescribe both a strength and running program that would take my age into account. I love to train hard but I had no idea what to do which led to constant injuries. I really wanted to be strong enough to run another marathon.
When I saw Gaby on Instagram, I knew she was the coach for me. She was a runner AND a DPT. I was so excited that we clicked on the initial consultation. Not only did I like what she had to say, I really liked her as a person.
When we started in May, I was doing a walk/run program from my PT and I told Gaby that I really wanted to run a Boston qualifying marathon in the fall. Throughout training, Gaby listened to me and adapted the training to fit my needs as necessary. She was responsive, organized and tailored the training around my crazy schedule. She kept me focused on my goal. Most importantly, she believed in me even when I doubted myself. Plus, I really enjoyed the workouts.
Fast forward, I ran the Richmond Marathon and had the most amazing day. I ran my strongest of 16 marathons. Not only did I make it to the start healthy, I felt so strong in the last 10k of the marathon. I had never experienced this before! I ended up beating my initial goal by 20 minutes and ran a Boston Qualifier. I smiled the entire race. I am so thankful for all of Gaby’s help. I can’t recommend her enough.

Before training with Gaby, I would constantly get shin splints and suffer from pain during my runs. After training with her, I’m not in any pain!

Whether you’re an amateur or seasoned runner, getting back into running is daunting. I suffered from over-training throughout college which led to a bad IT band injury.
I stopped running for over a year and stuck to other sports that didn’t involve as much running. When I had the idea to start again and potentially do a marathon, coming across Gaby’s Instagram was a blessing!
Given Gaby’s similar college athletic background and her impressive DPT credentials I knew we would work great together! She set me up for success from the start. The expectations and plans were clear and easy to follow.
Her strength training guides and docs that tracked my paces were detailed and customized every two weeks. She altered the plan when needed, prioritized my recovery, and I finished training strong!
I seriously couldn’t have ran my first marathon successfully and with a sub-3:30 time without Gaby!
